My journey into psychotherapy and healing began when I was a teenager. I was experiencing daily panic attacks, anxiety, and ruminating thoughts which affected my relationships, confidence, and goals. Through music, holistic healing (i.e. meditation, yoga, running, nature, healthy eating etc), and psychotherapy, I was able to build my own support, find purpose, and move beyond my limitations. I was able to take healthy risks such as moving across the country for college to pursue my passion in music, move to major cities such as NYC and LA, to try working in a variety of industries, start-ups, and advertising, and to open my own business.
Throughout the years, however, I noticed anxiety creeping in, and unwanted patterns repeating in relationships. Having experienced Narcissistic Abuse and Trauma, I chose to go deeper and decided to work with an IFS Therapist. Later, I found Somatic Experiencing and EMDR which all resonated with me. These three modalities changed my life for the better: I slowed down, arrived in my body, and tended to my “spiritual garden”. Through this healing experience, I decided to follow my calling to become a therapist to help others who struggle with anxiety, ruminating thoughts, self-judgement, body image concerns, relationship issues, and trauma.
Now, I am passionate about helping adults, teens, and relationship systems find relief from anxiety, relationship conflict, and trauma. I provide a direct, warm, and affirming presence while maintaining a collaborative approach—this is your space!
